The Wisdom You Already Carry - Discovering Your Inner Knowing with Horses

Sometimes the answers we are searching for aren’t found by thinking harder — they emerge when we become quiet enough to listen.

The Wisdom You Already Carry is an experiential workshop designed to help you slow down, step away from the noise of everyday life, and reconnect with your own inner knowing through the presence and wisdom of horses.

Horses live fully in the present moment. They communicate without words and respond authentically to what is happening around them,  including presence, intention, boundaries, emotion, and connection. Through thoughtfully guided, ground-based experiences with horses, participants will have an opportunity to notice what emerges when there is no pressure to perform, explain, or have the “right” answer.

The Experience

Together, we will explore themes such as:

  • Quieting the outside noise and creating space to hear yourself

  • Recognizing and beginning to trust your intuition

  • Becoming more aware of your emotions, needs, and boundaries

  • Noticing patterns in how you connect, respond, and relate

  • Exploring the difference between fear, expectation, and inner knowing

  • Listening to what your body and emotions may already be communicating

  • Bringing new awareness and insight back into everyday life

The horses become partners in this process, offering immediate and non-verbal opportunities for awareness, curiosity, and reflection.

No riding is involved, and no previous horse experience is required. All activities take place on the ground and are supported by experienced facilitators.

Fee: $350 per person

Your Facilitators

This workshop brings together equine-facilitated experiential learning and psychotherapy-informed reflection, with each facilitator bringing a distinct role and area of expertise.

Eurico & Alexandra — Equine / FEEL Facilitators
Eurico and Alexandra will lead the horse-based experiences using the FEEL® (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning) approach. Their role is to support participants in safely engaging with the horses, guide the experiential activities, observe the horse-human interactions, and create opportunities for participants to learn from the horses’ natural responses and communication.

Rather than interpreting the horse for you or telling you what an interaction “means,” the experience creates space for curiosity: What did you notice? What shifted? What might the horse's response invite you to explore?

Paitra Surerus-Marsh, MA, RP — Therapeutic Co-Facilitator
Paitra is a Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Director of Piece of Mind Healing Center. She will co-facilitate the workshop from a therapeutic perspective, helping participants explore and integrate what emerges through their experiences with the horses.

Her role is not to direct the horse activities, but to bring a psychotherapeutic lens to the experience,  supporting reflection around emotions, nervous-system responses, relationships, boundaries, patterns, self-awareness, and the personal meaning participants may discover.

Together, the facilitators create a unique bridge between the experiential wisdom of working with horses and therapeutic exploration of the self.

You Don't Have to Come With the Answers

This experience isn't about being good with horses, saying the right thing, or figuring everything out.

It is an invitation to slow down.

To notice.

To become curious about what happens when the usual noise becomes quieter — and to listen to what may already be there.

Come as you are. Connect. Listen. Discover what you already carry within you.
