Honouring the FEEL© Way: Welcoming FEEL© Co-Founder André Leclipteux to LongRun Farm
We were deeply honoured to welcome FEEL© Co-Founder André Leclipteux from Horse Spirit Connections to our EEC Program at LongRun Farm on March 5, 2026. Eurico and Alexandra esteem André deeply not just as their mentor, but as an incredible one-of-a-kind human being that both Eurico and Alexandra call family.
During the day, André met our herd and shared in touching, heart-centered experiences with the horses. There was something profoundly moving in watching André's interactions with the horses that chose to connect with him. Sugar Ray snuggled right up to André, and it felt like Sugar was healing in the energy André walks with - the incredible honour, respect, and esteem André holds horses in.
What really landed energetically with André's visit, in all the wisdom and experience he walks with, is not just the importance of what FEEL© work brings to humans, but the importance of helping horses step into their most authentic selves and purpose too. With FEEL©, we honour the horse as wise teacher and healer, and our aim is to support the horses who choose to do this work with us to shift from "animals" that we "use" for various "jobs," to walking with us as our true partners in evolution.
At EEC, our work is grounded in the FEEL© method - Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning. FEEL© is about more than techniques or exercises; it’s a philosophy of connection that honours the intelligence, sensitivity, and wisdom of the horse. Through ground-based interactions, participants are invited to explore themselves with honesty and courage, uncovering patterns, opening the heart, and discovering inner clarity.
Having André at the farm was fascinating because it highlighted both how far we have come at LongRun in our work and as practitioners, but also how very far we have to go. We are at the seed stage of our evolution - and walking alongside André through the fields - we could really feel it!
Our vision at EEC is to expand the reach and depth of FEEL©, creating a robust environment where this approach can continue to thrive. André’s visit for us is an important part of nurturing the legacy of FEEL©. We deeply esteem and are loyal to the FEEL© way and committed to continuing André's legacy, and it is our mission to expand the reach of the work to a wider range of people and horses.
We look forward to welcoming André back to LongRun Farm in the future. Each visit strengthens the bridge between mentor, practitioner, and herd, and reinforces the responsibility and privilege of carrying the FEEL© tradition forward. Through these experiences, we continue to honour the horses, our participants, and the lineage of knowledge and care that sustains this work - ensuring that the FEEL© way remains alive, vibrant, and accessible for years to come.
